Citizens of the Republic of Turkey and TRNC can travel between Northern Cyprus and Turkey with their passports or TRNC/TRNC IDs. Tourists who travel by car can also bring their vehicles using their IDs. However, those with residence/work permits and students must use their passports when bringing their vehicles. Citizens of the Republic of Turkey who will travel with a passport can exit Türkiye by paying an exit fee. Citizens of Turkey and EU countries must have a passport that is valid for at least 2 months, and citizens of other foreign countries must have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Citizens of the Republic of Turkey traveling to the TRNC are REQUIRED TO EXIT WITH A NEW TYPE CHIP IDENTITY CARD. Exit procedures with old type ID cards have ended. As of October 1, 2021, children between the ages of 0-15 are also required to use a PHOTO chip ID when traveling abroad. This rule is temporarily not applied to those coming from earthquake zones. Those coming from this region can enter the TRNC with a temporary ID document issued by the population directorate. Driver's license and birth certificate do not replace ID and are not accepted when traveling abroad.

You can change the date of your trip up to 24 hours before the departure time. Your ticket cannot be changed if there are less than 24 hours left until the departure time. You can change the date of the trip, open the ticket or convert an open ticket to a later trip by clicking on the "Change trip" button on the right side of the passenger names on the tickets sent to your e-mail address.

You can cancel your ticket by clicking on the "Cancel" button on the right side of the passenger names on the tickets sent to your e-mail address. You can confirm your cancellation by following the steps. The cancellation process is carried out according to the cancellation conditions and our penalty policy. The calculated refund amount will be transferred to the card you purchased the ticket from within 5-7 business days from the transaction date.

Bilet kesiminden itibaren ilk 24 saat içinde, cezasız iptal ve iade yapılabilir (eğer biletin seferi ilk 24 saat içinde ise bu kural geçerli değildir). Sefer saatinden 24 saat öncesine kadar yapılan iptallerde %25 ceza kesintisi uygulanır. Son 24 saat içinde şahsi bir sebep olmaksızın bilet açığa alınamaz veya tarih/sefer değişikliği yapılamaz. Sefer saatine 24 saat kala, bilet %50 ceza kesintisi uygulanarak iptal edilebilir. Sefer saatine 6 saat kala iptallerde %75 ceza kesintisi uygulanır ve tarih değişikliği yapılamaz. Sefer saati geçmiş biletlerde sadece vergi tutarı kadar iade yapılır. Sefer kapanış saatinden sonra kullanılmayan veya değiştirilmeyen biletler 'kullanılamaz' işlemi görür ve sadece vergi tutarı kadar iade yapılır.

Tickets can be changed to open tickets or converted to date/route by the authorized agency, the change link sent by e-mail or the Central Offices up to 24 hours before the departure time. Open tickets are valid for 1 year from the ticket issuance date. In case of a price difference in the new departure you choose, you are responsible for paying the difference within the framework of the rules in the ticket sales contract.

We have discounts for the disabled and members of the press. When purchasing a ticket, you can choose the "Disabled" or "Member of the Press" option among the passenger types. There is no discount for those over the age of 60. There is no wheelchair ramp on our ships carrying vehicles and passengers for our passengers with walking disabilities or those who need a companion. We recommend that these passengers travel with a companion.

 

Entry and exit taxes for passengers and vehicles are included in our prices. However, during your travel with your vehicle, you are responsible for obtaining and paying for compulsory traffic insurance valid in the country you will enter.

 

Passengers under the age of 18, if they are traveling with their ID cards when leaving their country of citizenship, cannot go abroad without a “LETTER OF CONSENT” obtained from a notary public from their non-traveling parent. Passengers under the age of 18 who will travel with an ID card need the consent of their father if they are traveling with only their mother, the consent of their mother if they are traveling with only their father, and the consent of both parents if they are traveling with someone other than their parents or alone. If custody is with a legal representative, a consent letter approved by a notary public or official authorities stating the permission of this person is required. Parental consent or consent is not required when passengers under the age of 18 travel with a passport.

We carry your pets such as cats, dogs and birds free of charge on our voyages. In order for your pets to travel comfortably and safely, they must be in a suitable cage. Small pets are accepted into the closed passenger lounges in cages. When entering the closed passenger lounges, your pets must be in a hard-surfaced cage or a soft-surfaced bag. The maximum cage size that can be taken into the lounge is 105 cm x 73 cm x 79 cm. Large pets can travel in cages in the area determined by the staff on the ship deck. Pets are not allowed in ship cabins.

When entering Northern Cyprus with your pet:

You can bring your pet (cat, dog and bird) with you to Northern Cyprus. Passengers who want to bring their pets to TRNC must obtain an “Import Preliminary Permit Document” from the TRNC Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources Veterinary Department Directorate within 30 days before their entry to the island and present this document to our company before the trip and to the relevant officers upon arrival in TRNC. When entering Türkiye with your pet:

Passengers can bring two pets and ten fish with them, exempt from customs duties. Pets are defined as cats, dogs and birds. A veterinary health report, origin and vaccination certificate, and if applicable, an identity and identity document must be presented. Our passengers are limited to two suitcases and one handbag for Sea Buses and three suitcases and one handbag for our ro-ro ships. There is no weight limit per piece. All baggage responsibility belongs to the owner of the baggage and the carrier is not responsible for any damage or loss that may occur during the voyage. If you have more baggage than specified, an extra load calculation may be made at the ports and a fee may be charged.

Tobacco Products:

  1. Cigarettes: 600 pieces
  2. Cigarillos (cigars weighing no more than 3 grams each): 100 pieces
  3. Cigar: 50 pieces
  4. Shredded tobacco (with 200 sheets of cigarette paper): 250 gr
  5. Pipe tobacco: 250 gr

Alcohol and Alcoholic Beverages:

Cosmetic:

  1. Cologne, perfume, lavender, essence or lotion, 5 skin care products and make-up, not exceeding 600 ml.

Food Products:

  1. Tea: 1 kg
  2. Soluble instant coffee: 1 kg
  3. Coffee: 1 kg
  4. Chocolate: 1 kg
  5. Sugar-based food: 1 kg

Passengers can use their entire food allowance of 1 kg of chocolate or 1 kg of sugar, or their 2 kg allowance for a single product.

As a company, we do not accept any responsibility for our pregnant passengers on cruises. We would also like to emphasize that pregnant passengers cannot be treated on board.

Pets are not allowed in ship cabins. Small pets can stay with you in the closed passenger lounges, provided they are in a cage. Your small pet can only enter the closed passenger lounges in a hard-surfaced cage or a soft-surfaced cage/bag. Large pets can travel in cages on the ship deck, in an area designated by the ship's personnel.

Sailing times are stated according to the local time of the country where the ship will depart.

Passenger and vehicle tickets are personal and cannot be transferred or used by anyone else.

Turkish citizens of all ages (0-15 years old included) must use a new type of ID with a chip and a photo if they are going to enter the TRNC with an ID. If children between the ages of 0-15 do not have an ID with a photo or chip, they can use a passport.

Turkish and TRNC citizens can travel between Northern Cyprus and Turkey with both their passports and their new type of Turkish/TRNC chip IDs. Vehicle owners traveling with their vehicles can pass their vehicles with their new type of chip IDs without the requirement of a passport. The use of photo chip IDs has also become mandatory for children between the ages of 0-15. Turkish citizens traveling with a passport can exit Türkiye by paying an exit fee. Passports are still mandatory for those with student, work or residence permits.

 

Our ship personnel have only received first aid training. Therefore, only first aid interventions can be performed during the voyage. However, we would like to emphasize that if first aid is not sufficient, intervention cannot be performed at sea. Passengers with chronic diseases are at their own risk and responsibility.

 

Seat numbers are given on our ships. Your seat number will be given to you with your boarding pass at our port offices 2 hours before the time stated on your ticket on the day of travel.
